Return & Refund Policy
This policy applies to purchases made directly from ROBERA NEW ZEALAND LIMITED. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
1. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please contact us if your product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not match its description.
For a minor fault that can be remedied, we may repair, replace or refund the product at no cost to you within a reasonable time. If the failure is substantial or cannot be remedied, you may reject the product and choose a refund or replacement, subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act.
If we fail to remedy a qualifying fault within a reasonable time, you may exercise your further rights under the Act. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
2. Return Conditions
Please provide your order number, receipt or other reasonable proof of purchase.
Original packaging and unused condition are not required for a valid faulty-product claim. Please package any return securely; we can help arrange suitable packaging or collection where necessary.
Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or failure to follow reasonable care instructions is not covered to the extent that it caused the problem. This does not exclude claims for unrelated product faults.
3. Return Process
Email info@robera.co.nz with your purchase details, a description of the issue and photographs or video where helpful. We will provide return instructions and the appropriate New Zealand return address.
Please contact us before sending a golf caddy or lithium battery so we can arrange suitable transport. Do not send a damaged battery without our shipping instructions.
We will cover reasonable return costs for valid consumer-law claims and items supplied incorrectly. Where a faulty golf caddy cannot reasonably be returned without significant cost because of its size, weight or the fault, we will arrange collection at our expense.
4. Refunds
We will assess returns promptly and explain the outcome. Once a refund is confirmed, we aim to process it within 3-5 working days using your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time.
For refunds required under consumer law, no handling, restocking or usage deduction will apply. We will also reimburse delivery costs where required by law. You do not have to accept store credit instead of a refund to which you are legally entitled.
5. Cancellations and Order Changes
Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order or change your delivery details.
Standard in-stock orders may be cancelled without charge before dispatch. Once dispatched, we may be unable to stop delivery or change the delivery address.
This does not limit your cancellation or refund rights under consumer law.
6. Warranty
Please refer to our Warranty Policy for the express warranty applicable to your product. Any manufacturer’s or Robera warranty is additional to your statutory rights. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act may continue beyond the stated warranty period.
For purchases made directly from us, we will handle your claim and will not require you to obtain approval from an overseas manufacturer before receiving a remedy required by law.
